We are called to an authentic Christian life that bears fruit, just as Jesus bore fruit. If we are not bearing fruit, then we need to look to see what is preventing that.
The one true thing is – you must be saved. And as Bartimaeus shows us, once you are saved you need to follow Jesus.

God made man to be upright but we are quick to jump after schemes that are our desires and not God’s. We need to always be on the alert to make sure that we do not fall into these schemes.
