Charles Town Baptist Church has a thriving Missions team! We’ll use this page to tell you a little about what we’re doing, and to let you know where you might connect. In addition to supporting Southern Baptist Missions through the Cooperative program, we have mission partnerships across North America. In past years, teams from our church have traveled to South Dakota, Kentucky, rural West Virginia, Alaska, Canada, and Tennessee. Trips are continually being organized and planned. If you are interested in partnering with us on a mission trip, contact Pastor Michael Lusby.
Jefferson County Community Ministries (JCCM) Food Bank
CTBC is a regular contributor to this food bank, thanks to the donations of our members. Drop your donations at the church (there is usually a food cart at the back of the overflow of the sanctuary), and we’ll deliver them for you.
Non-expired cereals, pancake mix & syrup, canned soups, canned meats, peanut butter & jelly, crackers, canned beans, and canned vegetables. It’s important that these not be out of date, as we cannot use them.
We’re still looking for drivers for the van to help bring local members without transportation to church. We also need folks to do ‘ride alongs’ to help the drivers.
- The van picks up those in need of a ride around Charles Town at their homes between 10:45 and 11:00 am, and makes a return trip after the service.
- To arrange a ride, please call the church at 304-725-5917.
- If you can serve, call Tim Jenkins at 571-214-9855, or email him.
